*NEW for 2026
We've been blessed with some really active roosters.
We will be hatching eggs once a month from April to June.
Next hatch date is April 27th.
Fertilized eggs are available until beginning of June.
Pre-order right away they are selling fast.
Baby chicks are
$15 for purebred Chanteclers
$10 for mixed breed (rooster is a Brahma, hens are olive eggers and other mixes)
Fertilized eggs $20 a dozen

Chanteclers..
Are currently on the endangered list. The only true Canadian chicken breed. Created by a monk in Quebec to withstand the cold winters. They lay well throughout winter. And small combs and wattles are resistant to frostbite.
Docile non aggressive birds, they get along well with other breeds and are great mamas.
Good for layers or meat birds
Eggs are medium to large and a variety of brown shades.
The picture is of our rooster King Tut.

Brahma mixes...
Brahmas are really nice birds. Gentle giants. Great meat birds because of their size. Our rooster pictured here is mating with some easter egger mixes that lay lots of eggs. We've been getting one a day from all of them!
The hens are amazing. So friendly and fun. A few are laying green eggs. The others are light brown.

What is a CSA share?
CSA stands for Community Shared Agriculture.
It is a great way to support small local farms and secure fresh, clean, healthy produce for your family.
You buy a share of what we grow in our garden for the season.
What do I get?
It includes 5-8 naturally grown, as fresh as you can get (picked the night before delivery) vegetables, herbs and sometimes fruit.
What is in the box will be different every week depending on what grows that season and the weather.
Boxes will be a bit bigger during the harvest season and a bit smaller during early Spring and late Fall.
Spring vegetables can include: Baby salad greens, baby kale, cilantro, parsley, green onions, heirloom radishes, salad turnips, sweet peas.
Summer vegetables can include: Tomatoes, peppers, lettuce mix, sweet basil, green beans, golden berries, strawberries, cucumbers, zucchini, carrots, celery, sweet onions.
Fall vegetables can include: Spinach, lettuce, arugula, onions, carrots, beets, parsley, cilantro, sugar snap peas, winter squash, radishes, turnips, cabbage and more
Do you deliver? What is the cost?
You have the option to pay for the year up front and not worry about making payments after that.
We are offering a bonus extra delivery end of May for those that pay up front as a thank you for helping us with the startup costs at the beginning of the season.
Or you can pay $150 per month for 5 months (June to October) due by the first Friday of every month.
Works out to around $34 a week and includes delivery to L'Isle-aux-Allumettes area or Pembroke area Friday mornings.
Deliveries to other areas may be possible for a small fee. You can also pickup at the farm Saturdays 10-4
Can I customize what I get?
You can let us know if there are ingredients you absolutely hate or will not use and we will do our best to omit them.
We are not a grocery store and must work with nature to provide what we can.
Customers are saying they enjoy the challenge of coming up with recipes according to what's in season.
Can I cancel my order if I am going away?
Sorry, no cancellations. We can't pause nature from growing!
What we suggest is either giving your box to a friend or neighbor that week.
If that is impossible then we can donate your box to a local food bank or someon in need.

We believe that natural is best. And although it requires more work and attention, we use manual labor and all natural inputs for our gardens. Our "fertilizer" is compost made by our own chicken and cow manure. Plants are hand tended, with so much love and attention there must be something said for all the good energy that goes into them. Some have said they can feel the vibrational difference.
Our chickens live a very happy life. Allowed to free roam around the property. They do what they love foraging on bug, berries and wild herbs. All animals are treated with love and respect and everyone has their role in the cycle of life here

We believe that nature provides us with what we need to live happy, healthy and free lives. Nicole graduated from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition as a Holistic Nutritionist and had a practice in Toronto. She is also an herbal enthusiast and believes that the medicine we need is provided all around us. Nicole was also a musician and has released 5 albums of healing music internationally. Alex has a passion for landscaping and a love for animals. He is quickly turning the newly bought homestead into a garden oasis.
Both Alex and Nicole believe in building strong local communities by providing for ourselves and others. We are striving for this in the Pontiac region of Quebec. We believe sharing and learning from each other is fundamental for a better future.
